Hello! My name is Praful and I enjoy creating things that live on the internet. My interest in web development started back in 2021 — turns out building your first responsive website teaches you a lot!
Fast-forward to today, and I’ve had the privilege of working across fintech and automotive domains, at both start-ups and a large-scale corporation. With 5 years of experience, my focus has been on performance optimization, micro-frontend architecture, and end-to-end SDK development. Currently, I'm building scalable products at Tekion Corp.

July 2024 - Present (Promoted from Software Engineer II in March 2026)
▹ Architected and shipped App Store in 30 days — a self-serve, embeddable commerce platform serving 20,000+ potential users to discover & purchase features, integrating billing & RLM systems end to end.
▹ Designed eligibility-driven feature discovery with dependency chain logic.
▹ Built Trial Management System for 100+ internal sales users to enable, extend, and disable feature trials in bulk across dealers with upsell/downsell tracking.
▹ Maintainer (a cross-team approved exception to the Staff-only access policy) of the core frontend mono-repo used by 200+ engineers, and Owner of 3 out of 20+ packages.
▹ Self-initiated Dealer Decommission Tool integrating with the internal operations system — successfully decommissioned 50+ dealers, enabling bulk and ad-hoc requests and history tracking, built independently without design support.
September 2022 - June 2024 (Promoted from Product Engineer I in February 2024)
▹ Founding engineer of Hyperswitch Web SDK, an open-source payment SDK (110+ stars, 114+ forks) — led a team of 5 engineers as Tech Lead and Product Owner, on track to reach ~1 million monthly transactions.
▹ Optimized SDK load time from ~5-8s to ~1-5ms (99%+ improvement) in degraded networks via asset preloading, significant bundle size reduction, lightweight in-house components, and collaborated to evaluate and enhance software & hardware interfaces, directly improving payment success rates.
▹ Owned merchant integrations end-to-end — directly handled functional requirements in merchant calls for global clients including Zurich & Flowbird across Europe and other countries.
▹ Drove SDK integration & demo experience within the merchant-facing payments operations dashboard, enabling merchants to validate checkout flows and configure payment orchestration across gateways.
▹ Streamlined & automated release management and deployment pipelines.
May 2021 - August 2022
▹ Achieved an 80% boost in UI/UX for RA coders by streamlining a workflow from 10-12 clicks to just two.
▹ Wrote clean, reusable code ensuring product quality and on-time delivery.
▹ Contributed to full-stack tasks, collaborating with peers to meet requirements and deadlines.
